EQUESTRA – Stable & Horse Care Support

EQUESTRA is currently being incorporated. The company registration number has not yet been assigned and will be included in these terms and conditions once registration is complete.

At EQUESTRA, reliability, safety and animal welfare are our top priorities. By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

1. Services

EQUESTRA offers professional support within the equestrian sector, including stable work, horse care, holiday cover, weekend assistance, grooming, competition support and horse transport.

2. Customer responsibility

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the horse, including its health, behaviour and any potential risks.

The client is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, well-maintained infrastructure and suitable equipment.

3. Horse safety and behaviour

Horses are living creatures with unpredictable temperaments. Should a horse display aggressive, dangerous or unmanageable behaviour, EQUESTRA reserves the right to cease activities immediately.

4. Transport of horses

Transport is always carried out with the utmost care. The owner remains responsible for the horse's health, documentation, insurance and behaviour during transport.

EQUESTRA cannot be held liable for stress, injuries or other consequences arising from the normal risks associated with horse transport.

5. Liability

EQUESTRA carries out all assignments with care and professionalism.

EQUESTRA shall not be liable for any damage, injury or loss arising from:

  • unpredictable behaviour in horses;
  • incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer;
  • unsafe conditions on site;
  • force majeure or circumstances beyond its control.

The customer shall be liable for any damage caused by their horse to persons, vehicles, trailers, equipment or property.

6. Emergencies

If veterinary assistance is urgently required and the owner cannot be contacted, EQUESTRA may contact a vet in the horse's best interests. All costs arising from this shall be borne by the owner.

7. Prices and payments

Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice.

In the event of late payment, statutory interest and administrative charges may be applied. EQUESTRA reserves the right to suspend future orders until all outstanding amounts have been paid.

8. Cancellations

Cancellations must be reported as soon as possible.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, you may be charged the full cost of the service booked.

9. Travel expenses

Journeys outside the agreed region or distance may be charged separately at the applicable rate per kilometre.

10. Weather conditions and force majeure

In the event of extreme weather conditions, traffic disruptions, illness, technical faults or other circumstances beyond our control, an appointment may be rescheduled or cancelled without entitlement to compensation.

11. Privacy

Personal data is used solely for administrative, communication and service-related purposes and is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).

12. Photos and social media

EQUESTRA may use photographs or footage of activities for its website and social media. If you do not wish this to happen, please notify us in writing in advance.

13. Applicable law

All agreements and services provided by EQUESTRA are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
